Ideally, clients would come into the shop for a job consultation. In-person meetings are the best way for our team and you to get a better understanding of both the process and goals of the project. We have a variety of completed samples as well as a wide selection of color and material choices in-house. Of course, we understand that visiting A&H may not be possible. In that event, once you have an idea in mind, please call or send us an email so we can begin designing your vision!

Depending on how busy we are at the time and the complexity of the job, turnaround time may differ. For example, rebinds, closing documents, and most other jobs require 15-25 days while theses and dissertations are typically complete within 10-15 business days.

Yes we do. However, please reach out to us regarding any expedited or rush services. Once we have an idea of the quantity and complexity of the project, we’ll be better equipped to meet your needs and determine the cost, desired timeline, etc.

PDF is best for theses and dissertations, while Illustrator is preferred for any artwork files. Additionally, we convert word docs to PDFs to send back to our clients for approval when needed.

Yes- we ship via FedEx, however, we can use UPS services instead upon request. Once you've provided us with a name, address and phone number, we'll ship the finished job straight to you. *Note: handling charges and messenger costs will be added to your final invoice.

We do offer both pickup and delivery services through a referred printing partner or via messenger services when needed.

Most jobs don't require any deposit. However, depending on the project size, a down payment of around 25-33% may be required. For instance, if it's a job for a large company that requires us to order a lot of materials, we may ask for a 1/3 deposit.
